The heron has always been mine.

It's the bird I kept coming back to — in sketchbooks, in studies, in the logo that now carries my name. There is something in the way a heron moves through coastal light that feels impossible not to paint. That stillness. That quiet confidence. The way it simply belongs wherever it stands.

These three prints are the fullest expression of that love.

Each one begins as an original oil painting — the deep coastal blues of their plumage built up slowly in layers, the gold and orange of their beaks warming the whole composition.
